Known as the Father of the Green Revolution in Maharashtra amid the 60s, the late Vasantrao Naik was the most regarded Chief Minister of Maharashtra. He was the main Chief Minister of Maharashtra who served a term of 12 years ceaselessly, instructing admiration of his gathering specialists and the general population of Maharashtra. In the film, we see the improvement of this dedicated and genuine pioneer, from Nagpur to Mumbai. With the favors of senior pioneer Yashwantrao Chavan, he is designated a Chief Minister of Maharashtra, by the then Prime Minister of India, Mr. Jawaharlal Nehru.
The film has been introduced well, demonstrating the political excursion of Mr. Naik and his abilities of handling restriction; be it in his own body electorate or in the get together house. On account of make-up craftsman Pradeep Premgirikar, lead performing artist Chinmay Mandlekar takes after the late CM in the post-interim part of the film. We additionally see the characters of Lal Bahadur Shastri, Acharya Atre and even Balasaheb Thackeray and Sharad Pawar; which are however played by not really well known artistes. Nisha Parulekar, in the part of his wife Vatsalabai, gives a wonderful execution. Bharat Ganeshpure is too great in the part of another essential Maharashtra pastor Balasaheb Desai.
